Re: A tree in Australia facing Makkah

umm...I'm sure there are lots of trees in the world that face makkah, just like there are lots that face Antartica or Tahiti.

Re: A tree in Australia facing Makkah

^ agreed

Re: A tree in Australia facing Makkah

True, but how many trees with a shape of a man praying face Antarctica or Tahiti?

Re: A tree in Australia facing Makkah

True but how many men have you seen with a shape of giraffe neck coming out it neck.

This one doesnot even look like a man no arms or anything.

Re: A tree in Australia facing Makkah

Allah:swt: shows His signs in many ways and only those get guided who are sincere in seeking guidance…

Otherwise, nations had made excuses against the Miracles of the Prophets sent to them as being magic… What difference does it make really…

If humans have stopped facing Makkah and make Ruku in front of Allah:swt:, then know that He does not need us in the first place… it is us who need HIM… He will just show His signs through His creations… and most certainly He can replace us with others as well.

Re: A tree in Australia facing Makkah

His signs are present in ordinary trees and plants too, in all His creations, its us who cant see it.

Re: A tree in Australia facing Makkah

Phat, I understand that, but to me that means understanding the complexity and beauty of nature and feeling and knowing that no human or chance event could have caused the world to come about the way it has.

To go so far as making things up, its ridiculous. Reminds me of those computer faked images that make it seem the name of Allah is written on things like plants and trees, etc. Is there such a need to stoop to such a silly level to justify our beliefs? And of course, muslims are so irrational and emotional, that they fall for this stuff.

Furthermore, I don’t see how this tree resembles someone prostrating. Its so ridiculous and subjective. If you want to interpret it as such, then fine. But don’t sit there and say that look - this is a sign from God because its bent and so it must be praying. Well then any other tree that has a bent in any other direction is not praying to Allah?

Its like taking a picture of a bent desk lamp and saying, oh look, that desk lamp is praying to God towards mecca.

Re: A tree in Australia facing Makkah

ever seen that picture of a rock ni ocean which is making sajda like a man??? :hehe:

Re: A tree in Australia facing Makkah

Why even seek guidance in other creations for that matter…

Human himself is an evidence of Allah:swt: Kingdom…

Perhaps, my statement was to show the severity of corruption in our beliefs… True is that His signs are in every single bit of this universe and which is the basis of the concept of Wahdat-ush-Shahood explained by Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani:rehm: … but when humans started deviating from His path, He sent messengers ‘with miracles’ … Now, it is His mercy that He shows such signs beyond the signs seen in otherwise ordinary things… To say that, His signs are in everywhere is a statement of having Iman, IMHO… but not everyone sees it that way…

Re: A tree in Australia facing Makkah

^ I agreed.:k:

Why are you laughing?

Re: A tree in Australia facing Makkah

Re: A tree in Australia facing Makkah

May be its only photoshop.

Re: A tree in Australia facing Makkah

So many objects in the world look like the cross and so many things in the world may look like Hindu Gods! What would you say then?

Its not the thing they are praying to someone!

Re: A tree in Australia facing Makkah

alot of muslims are so ignorant of the essence and philosophy of Islam that they follow rediculus ideas.
just a few days ago a pakistani guy was describing an incident that happened in his villiage in pakistan. a family says that one of their young gals was out of bed at night and she saw lightening striking their floor. when she went to the place where it had struck, she saw that the word Allah was engraved in the floor. when this rumer spread ppl started coming to the house to see the word on the floor and meet the gal. they give them money and treat it like a miracle.

in pakistan ppl go to the mazaars and waste alot of money on pleasing the dead person. they buy all kindaa stuff to take back home so others can get the blessings of that bazurg too. its like they treat the dead person as a diety and all kinds of stupid stuff is done in the hope that it might give them happiness.

in our own villiage there were 4 graves of some pius people. the guy who use to lead prayer in the village mosqe was thrown out because of his conduct. this guy made a small building around those four graves with the help of some village folk. a year or two later he started an urs on that mazaar, and man is it a gud business. ppl would come from far and wide and give him loads of money. our qabarstaan was quiet small and there were graves all around these four graves but he leveled some of them and made another room adjecent to the mazaar. he was the only one in our village who had an air conditioner, along with gud tobacco. alot of the old folk use to go there during summer to cool off and chat while smoking hukka.... lol.
later on the urs got bigger and he leveled another part of the graveyard for ppl to sit and listen to qawalies. during the qawalies, there was a constant shower of money from this mullah. soon he was considered a great pir and ppl came from all over to ask him for prayers.

Anyone who saw his conduct during urs could never believe this person was pius. but its like doobaty ko tinkay ka sahara....... ppl are so desperate and void of any spritual experience tha they would turn to anything.
