Is your 14 month old throwing too many tantrums? Dont know what to do when nothing seems to stop your baby from crying? Here’s a little test to see if he really is crying or is it just another drama. You’d be surprised how much more easier than you think it is.
I once had a fight with my bhabhi because my yr and half old nephew wouldnt stop crying and she chose to beat him to silence. Giving the kid the attention he seeks might not always be the answer.
^ And true. My point being often when kids start crying every 5 minutes for no obvious reason, they really are begging for unnecessary attention. They have already learnt that crying and persisting will get them plenty of attention and only when they have received the necessary attention they will stop crying (definition of a spoilt brat).
So parents try this out with your kid sometime (if you havent already) and see if the little nawab is for real or up to some drama.
as for the subject.. all i can say is.. if u think all kids are alike and one trick works for everyone, you’re just thinking all of us are created and wired the same way .. kids are individuals and every one of them reacts to things differently.. this is why beatings work for some and others can just be ‘tamed’ by threats of a time out..
captain lota i m not sure whether ur aware of this, but crying is the only tool available to those kids. They do not have any other communication skills, so they basically cry to communicate with the outside world to let them know their needs/wants.
added: omg, the kid was so cute and adorable and he was an attention seeker.
