A Trace of Inhumanity

I never found any information on this forum about the following incident about this Pakistani citizen. “Khalid Mehmood” who was caught and tortured to death by indian agencies when he visited india to watch a cricket match. I was following the news in March 2008 Tried to search for any threads started in here to read people’s opinions about this act of inhumanity by the indians. Surprisingly, I didnt find any. Here is what posters here probably still do not know:

Pakistan - The Land of Pure: Khalid Mahmood - Indian Gift to Pakistan

Daily Times - Leading News Resource of Pakistan

While search for the above to post here, I also came across:

Pakistani citizen Muhammad Akram was tortured to death in Indian jail

But will the above stop our diplomats from singing praises of the friendly and ‘peace-loving’ india? No!

Re: A Trace of Inhumanity

such type of news appears in both side of borders.. their authenticity cannot be proved.

Khalid Mehmood case was reported in one of “Ansar Burney” threads here:

http://www.paklinks.com/gs/pakistan-affairs/283354-ansar-burney-files-mercy-petition-sarabjit.html#post5783501

and Muhammad Akram case was reported here:

http://www.paklinks.com/gs/pakistan-affairs/285103-india-torture.html

If you search in Pak Affairs, alot of us brought it up alot of times. At that time, Musharraf had appointed that Burney Singh character as the human rights minister, who was only interested in getting his face on the camera screen and take convicted indian spies like that Kashmir Singh across the border.

So youre denying the whole thing?

Re: A Trace of Inhumanity

why didnt u guys do the post mortem after receiving the body????

Re: A Trace of Inhumanity

^ Because the guy running the show at that time was a dunce, Burni Singh Lambha.

Re: A Trace of Inhumanity

then dont blame us... no one knows the truth except the dead man..

Thanks for the info. I did not know.

I totally agree here.

Things would not be so dim for Pakistanis only if they had some competent and / or non-corrupt officials to do their jobs.

Reminds me of zobia's earlier thread in "All Views".

An incompetent nation such as Pakistanis do not deserve leaders like Imran Khan. They deserve Ghaddaari and the similar lot. They get to lead them who they are.
