These songs are a pair of classics that totally suit my current mood see if you know them.
To call them songs is wrong since they are more like prayers.
The first is the Raag Darbari of legend from the film Baiju Bawra my fathers favourite film. This song wrenches my heart everytime and even though it is more a hindu prayer a muslim can enjoy it too like myself.
The second song is a Muslim prayer and this is another heart breaking tear jerker. I grew up with this film Mughal e Azaam and the stroy has always endeard it to me, i wasn’t fond of the film but the Actress Madubala was and always will be a legend and she in particular made this mocie what it is as Anarkali. Huhh thats so funny cos my real name is Salim, but right now i too am sad and this will help those like me.
So to all sad folks out there may this dull your pain and sorrow.
