one of the girls in my community …well now Ive moved so its not my community anymore… but she is still there and she was at the receiving end of ppl talking about her…I;ve never liked that girl…but I know for a fact that she is shareef …but one of the boys in our community started going to her hostel (not her room mind you) to get notes and help with study during the nights…and his mother was the first to spread rumors that that girl is after her son…her son had implied to that girl that he would marry her so that girl spent a lot of time helping him…but his mother she made up stories and the whole community soaked up the gossip and decided to believe it …
sometimes ppl have secrets that we should cover up but most ppl dont and that is sad and in my opinion gunaah…because nobody but allah has the right to reveal a person’s secrets and who are we to judge anyone…only someone who has not committed a single sin is in that position and none of us can claim that we are sinless
and sometimes lies are made up about individuals and ppl chose to believe those lies because its juicy gossip and it’s somehow disgustingly enjoyable to believe something bad abt somebody
it really makes me mad this part of our communities makes me disgusted
