I was just reading a few stories on gupshup, and trust me, the devastation around the world, can actually be felt within these little posts that users type up.
You know the Multan Crash, well in Canada here, we met a family, who was so excited about going to Pakistan, in a long time…
Just the other day, I found out, they reached pakistan, but were on that plane that crashed.
just a few days ago, they were here, standing in my garage, laughing smile, no worry, no trouble in the world on their minds.
They were excited, little did they know this would happen to them in a matter of 2-3 days!
SubhanAllah. We become so caught up with life, and our environment, we have absolutely no time to reflect, even if we PRAY, we’re not reflecting as our body functions in prayer, but our mind is somewhere else.
I just recently read the Cancer thread in General too.
That website, has so many cancer stories, of people , who would be playing soccer one day, and then the next day, be lying in the hospital with B-type, agressive Cancer. Or other diseases.
You know, we don’t notice these things until it happens to us, or ones we love.
We never turn to Allah ,until he reminds us, that death is certain for you. You will leave the world.
Do you think the world means alot to that person who is on the bed , dying, tired of being treated. ???
I want to take this moment, and many moments in my life, to remember my God. I want to thank him, for everything, for the health, for the ability to see, hear , feel, and touch, I want to thank him that i am able to read and write, and post on these forums. And have the comfort of this chair on which I sit, and the comfort of the food that has filled my belly today.
I want to thank him, for all the atrocities i’m saved from, and all the harm that he has kept me away from.
I want to apologize, for the complaining I did, when i had small little problems in life.
I want to ask him, to give me good health, a good life.
For there is no other being, but the Almighty, who can give me that.
I pray we all remember, Allah , as Muslims.
For we are nothing without him.
Ameen.
