i dont think its nice to generalise is such a manner... just coz someone doesn't remember the names in order doesn't mean they dont know anything about their deen :)
besides, there are ppl out there who have memorised the entire Quran but havn't been able (or dont bother to rather) fulfull its purpose; which being that we implement the commandments written in the Holy Book.

I agree but looking at your previous post (Post #7) seems to me like you learnt something recently and now you are here to rub it in other people's face, which will get you no where either because there are ahadith telling us that you should not have the intention to become scholar or gain knowledge to show off your knowledge to others. And NOT knowing the names of 5 parahs does not mean that you don't follow your deen. Knowing the names also would not mean that you are a hardcore follower of Islam. If I had to choose between knowing the 5 names of parahs or knowing what is prohibited in Islam, I would rather go with the second one.
