There should be s/w(Application) downlaod forum. Now a days most of the online forums has this option. its nice to have this option here 2 so we can share some gud application/sofware with each other

^coz it's a DISCUSSION board, not some p2p download forum.
Discuss the software.. fair enough, but allowing downloads will open a new door for pirated or illegal media.

The amount of resources required for a download utility may overburden the purpose of GS as a discussion board.
Good intention, but the privilege may be manipulated to share applications that are normally retail version, and that could lead to troubles.
