I think PCB should immediately schedule a 2 match home ODI series with Bangladesh. This will solve 2 purposes…
Get many out of form guys in form. All the top order batsmen will get some run under belt and bowlers who had a tough dhuali can get their confidence back. There is no better way to boost your confidence to get out and make some runs.
*]Afridi’s will be able to play in all games right from begining which improves Pak chances in worldcup a lot.
... and what will Bangladesh get out of this? Yes, they are the whipping boys of cricket, but they'd rather not put a stamp on this title. Plus Pakistan doesn't have any kind of bowling attack right now either.
They will get chance to play against a formidable team before the worldcup. They are tired of playing ZIM and Kenya.
Pak can win with Naved, Sami and kaneria etc also.
For Pak, this is work around to get Afridi ban-free in the worldcup. :D
Yes, well.. I am not sure if Afridi ban is even such a big deal, anyway. Even worse was when Inzi was banned for a few ODI's after English series and he missed out the Champions Trophy. If PCB were so concerned, they may have found a loophole by arranging ODI's. Afridi is not that important in the over all scheme of things. He fires up in only 1 out of I-don't-know-how-many games. Certainly not worth all this headache.
But your comment, tongue-in-cheek as it may be, is interesting.

bhaijan,
Inzi ke case me mamla bahut late se pata chala..There was no time to schedule a game. Abhi worldcup hai bhai...stake zyada hai..like it or not.Without Afridi firing you cant win worldcup.
One Observation though, If you have word 'suggestion' in your subject then mods and direcotrs listen to you. :p
I am totally against such idea, especially since we knew how fragile is PAK tender little boys are. In such case, we may risk more injuries. I am keeping my fingers cross even for warm up camp, lets hope every one stay fit (I mean fit in term of pakistani fitness level, with few extra pounds around waist).
