I dont have a problem when mods rudely move the thread to another forum, but if they vcould kindly notify the originator as to the reason would be great.
Also it would be nice to see where the thread was moved to. Currently it just shows it was moved ,but doesnt tell where. Just a suggestion.

Re: A suggestion
I have been saying for 3 years now. Nobody seems to get it.
Re: A suggestion
A mod may come online for a limited time or s/he may move/edit/delete/read saveral threads/posts. Its practically (if not impossible) difficult to PM every thread starter. We assume (atleast, senior memebers like u ppl) r smart enough to find it. To a newbie, we often drop a line.
Plus, u can subscribe ur threads to keep the track of them.

Re: A suggestion
Actually yes it is. I have seen it done on other forums and I have done it myself. One click and you move it, well actually three. Then you pm the guy saying
"Your thread was moved to such and such forum as it fits best there. Here is the new link". It took me 45 seconds to type this whole message.
Re: A suggestion
Normally, when a thread is moved a link to the thread is left in the forum where it was initially posted, so if you click on that link, if redirects you to the where it was moved...
This way, You can find out where it was moved.
Re: A suggestion
regardless it is a curtesy. Btw the way this version works you can do three things. Move and leave no link. Move and leave a link and copy it. Regardless you can spend the same time as moving it to a forum as you need to type one line. Or are you all to busy?
