I know Modz here are very tired about complains they have been getting about crnr room, but recently the topics in their are no where for kids to go to. Since I personally know some kids who under 18 and go to crnr room often.
I just wanted to suggest maybe a way for Modz to only allow people over 18 to visit that forum.
In a different Message board, their adminsitrators setup a way that only people over 18 can visit some R rated forums.
Like they are asking for those who are over 18 to post their Driver License or some sort of ID which proves that they are over 18 and its been working fine.
Good idea Umair. How do you propose we implement this feature to allow only 18+ users only? Credit cards? Driver's license #'s people are weiry to give those out. What kind of screening process could you suggest : )
p.s. there is a notice when entering TCR and is mentioned in the rules as well that minors should avoid the section.
Kids are kids and they won't just turn back by reading the disclaimer.
I think most Guppies have a scanner and they scan their ID or any other things which proves that they are 18+.
Or they can send in their picture. :)

the scanner idea won't work because not all of us have a bar code scanner.
a picture can be a fake for all we know or certain guppies either look younger or older than their actual age.

If anything, the under 18's need the TCR room more than anyone else. They're at a stage where they have questions about everyone and everything and if they can get some answers from this board, then it has done its job!

Ageed with you to a certain extent. However some threads in TCR are not intended to give any answers at all, they're just filthy stories. But then, we don't have a way of handling those threads differently.
