**what do you guys think of Bangladesh which is ahead of England in the WC standings? do u think that they will be a very STRONG contender in 2015 WC? i would love to hear ur views...

A successful tournament and much better organised than the 2007 one. However the tournament was too long and with 14 teams too many meaningless matches. The world cup didn't really start till the qtr finals.

Prior to the QF stage, there WERE some really quality matches but like many have pointed out earlier..they were rendered meaningless. Hopefully that will be addressed in next worldcup.

logistics, stadiums, coverage rest of the stuff was top notch and hats off to host countries for that.

Bangladesh beat England (God knows how!) but some of their other performances esp. against Windies (54 all out) and South Africa (78 all out) can only be described as abject surrenders

**oh i see...but, 4 years is a long time to have a turn around...after all, they are ex-pakistanis...we have the same level of love for cricket. if they hire a good coach and inject some money, they might just do that...right?

I seriously hope BD is much better in 4 years. Their infrastructure must be getting better.. they have a large population interested in cricket.. they HAVE to get better !! QFs for sure next time. Who knows 1 good game from there and we could have an ALL asian SF :D

BD are hopeless man. It seems like they work hard and invest into their cricket but they just don't have that raw talent.
