I had a girlfriend who used to print out chat logs and texts, and used them during arguments, she was hot so it didn't bother me to much. I just avoided texting and chatting but she began to believe I was cheating on her (this was during 11th grade) and we broke up.

my best friend wrote in her notebook every single time she met she guy she liked. like she would record that 20 july she meet X at pizza hut.
i believe she just wants to cherish these moments and remember them. however, she is quite madly in 'love' with him as she is writing down every convo. if he is not interested in her in the romantic sense, i foresee that she will be extremelyyyyyyyy heartbroken.
pls ask her to stop it and ask her to find out if the guy too likes her.

From what I have gathered, what they talk about is more of pleasure, s*, ma******ion.. Need I go on? ;) To tell you the truth, it's a strange relationship whose basis is fantasy and artificiality. Maybe this is the reason that she's gotten so much obsessed to him? They haven't met in real. She's in a state of confusion cuz she has no idea where this "unique" relationship is going, so she pens all of the conversations so that she can re-read them again and again and again. He seems uninterested in knowing the other aspects of her personality. They have been intimate for so long, but still; she doesn't have the courage to confess her love to him. She's scared of the "what if" scenario.
Maybe she's just writing down her own version of erotica to read later on? Maybe you are reading too much into it

She has to stop. Yes, it's going to be hard but it's not impossible. He does not love her, it's very obvious he's just using her and playing around with her. What she's doing is absolutely not normal and very unhealthy. She has to wake up and smell the coffee! It really does not sound like his intersted in anything serious or that he values the realtionship as much as she does. She has to stop talking to him once and for all.

A friend of mine has been in love with this guy for the last 10 months, and the problem with her is that she has been jotting down word-to-word conversations that take place between her and that guy in her diary, whether they are written or oral. In this manner, she has around more than 145 lengthy conversations saved in hand-written form, each of 5-6 pages, and sometimes exceeding 9, alternating between Facebook, chat messengers, SMSs, voice chats and face to face ones. Though he does not even know the 10% of her, neither he knows that she loves him. They are quite strangers to each other.
Is she graduating towards abnormality, disturbing obsession or what? This is affecting her studies and mental state as well. She is always restless and in a state of confusion. Is it normal for a normal person? Need counseling in that regard. =\
