Re: A Spinach salan from the following ingredients?
Do spinach salan and enjoy with roti/naan
this is what you can do :
Fry one sliced onion, add garlic cloves , then add the spices ( salt and chilli ) , then tomato paste and finally the spinach … cover the lid and leave it on low fire for 15 minutes … when the water ( that the spinach releases dries out fully and oil separates ) if you have a potato , cube it and let it cook in the spinach .. if you dont have it , dont worry you dont have to add anything .. .enjoy spinach with paratha
you can also do salan style scrambled spinach eggs … Like this :
Fry sliced onions until browned … add in garlic and fry … then add in salt and green chillies chopped and add tomato paste … then add spinach and when its nearly done , stir in three eggs , mix it all really fast … finally add in fresh corriander … and you are good to go …

you can also do pakora's ... just chop onion, add in spinach leaves .. some fresh corriander and green chillies , salt to taste , baisan if you have any , and deep fry pakoras ...
if you dont have baisan than just add one tablespoon aata or maida ... mix all the ingredients well and fry them ...
Re: A Spinach salan from the following ingredients?
yup you can do , but not the whole can ... normally the fresh spinach gets reduced by 80% ... but the one in the can only gets reduced by 20% ... so use just half or quarter can depending on what size dabaa you are using ...
i am positive you will enjoy it ..
The only thing you need to be careful of ... ensure that you dry out the spinach fully while bhooning it , and ensur the oil separates ... only and only then add the eggs ,, otherwise the water content in the spinach will destroy the taste ...
