A specific question Indians..How do you view Pakistan as a nation and neighbour?

Re: A specific question Indians..How do you view Pakistan as a nation and neighbour?

well if i've learnt one thing from all the slugfests in politics fora on here, it is that arguing about kashmir is a futile exercise. even when pakistan was under army dictatorship, there were people like mirch here demanding democracy not for pakistan, but for kashmir. :D kashmir is the pakistani politicans' and army's trump card, it is brought out every time they need carteblanche on something, or to distract their people from real issues, and the average pakistani swallows it hook line and sinker every time.

Re: A specific question Indians..How do you view Pakistan as a nation and neighbour?

slam dunk!
i always wonder how the separatist leader gilani still gets a payroll from the indian government too. don't understand the thinking behind that. it's like a big drama for the world and the people of j&k all these corrupt characters(pak, indian, j&k state politicians)are playing with the people's intense pent up emotions. It's a big game for them

Re: A specific question Indians..How do you view Pakistan as a nation and neighbour?

Democracy in Pakistan does not exist; everyone knows Army still has the final call on all important matters.

If India wants to progress and become some form of a pseudo super power…it must give up complete control of occupied kashmir. Otherwise status quo will continue.

btw, Pakistan does not need democracy as seen in west. We need a benovolant dictator.

As always Pakistan Zindabad!!! :jhanda:

Re: A specific question Indians..How do you view Pakistan as a nation and neighbour?

Yo , we demand a plebiscite on both sides of border to put this issue to rest forever.
Pakistan has democratically elected government which is loved by people of Pakistan and American Government. :D

Re: A specific question Indians..How do you view Pakistan as a nation and neighbour?

Been here on this website for last 4-5 years now and have couple of pakistanis as friends. The thing which i noticed is they are extremly religious..they worry more about the next life instead of current life.
In religious forum you will see post like what islam says about riding motorbikes, abt masturbation, pooping at weird hours etc etc. Its like they can never use their brain to figure out but have to be dependent on religion for everything.

Re: A specific question Indians..How do you view Pakistan as a nation and neighbour?

although some people on GS are really sweet and cute, especially in life1, i’m thinking they are mostly pakistanis :flowers: :hugz:

i stay away from the gossip mills here so…so…maybe that’s why

Re: A specific question Indians..How do you view Pakistan as a nation and neighbour?

LMFAO.

Re: A specific question Indians..How do you view Pakistan as a nation and neighbour?

:rotfl:
What your comments have to do with the topic being discussed here ? Your post can be a good conversation starter though in religion forum. I agree to some extent with your comments that many Pakistanis do not use their brains and just listen to mullah of their choice. Many Muslims not only Pakistanis would not even ride a bike unless their mullah says it is OK . They will ride on a khotay da puttar though without questioning.

Re: A specific question Indians..How do you view Pakistan as a nation and neighbour?

and your signature says the same thing about "Terrorists". So in essence you think most Pakistanis, or for that matter most muslims, are terrorists?

Re: A specific question Indians..How do you view Pakistan as a nation and neighbour?

^^pakistanis aren't a representation of all muslims in this world

muslims of other countries might take offense to that statement.

i have no clue what chintubhapali meant but what you said reminds me of what shoaib mallik said about thanking all muslims of the world for pakistani team's win......arrey why this way of thinking by pakistanis? i thought it was just shoaib ji that thought this way but obviously not.

Re: A specific question Indians..How do you view Pakistan as a nation and neighbour?

I don't know if Indian media has ever portrayed Pakistan in a favorable manner...

Re: A specific question Indians..How do you view Pakistan as a nation and neighbour?

Ok. So I take my words back about muslims even though one can argue since most pakistanis are muslims hence, they are a subset of most Muslims all over the world and in that context, Soorma Bhopali's words were exactly how they appeared to mean.

So my question still is the same, does he mean that Pakistanis are terrorists?

happy? :)

Re: A specific question Indians..How do you view Pakistan as a nation and neighbour?

The only people who have the moral authority to answer are the Jawaans on both sides - the ones who have to risk their lives and bear brutal weather, all because the leadership in both countries cannot get along. So my question is to the Jawaans on both sides - would you like the two countries to get along?
At the risk of dating myself, Asif Iqbal, Majid Khan, Mushtaq Mohammed, Wasim Raja were some of my favorite cricketeers, especially the first two. (Of course, they came after my beloved Mansur Ali Khan of Pataud). iAnd in field hockey, always rooted for Pakistan (after India of course). Samiullah, the fleet footed left winger, is a name from the past that is still registered at the back of my mind.

The Pakistanis I have come across have been polite and friendly. To me, they seem like North Indians, not much different.
As for politics, I will stay out of it, and just comment on how I feel about our neighboring people.

Peace.
