Need responses from a Hanafi view point.
In Isha (or Zuhar or Asar) namaz, if someone joins the jama’at during the fourth raka’at, how will they finish it after the salaam?
After salaam will he get up and do one rakaat, then do tashhadd and then two more rakaat, or will he do two raka’at then tashhadd then one raka’at? In this situation, in which two raka’aat will he recite just sura-fatiha and no other sura?
Thanks.
after imam finishes the last rakat, stand up.
now since it is your first "qadha" rakah that you are performing, start with Sana (optional) Surah Fatiha and a surah but after the second sajdah, since it is your second rakah "in total" you will sit and read Tashud (At Haiyaat)
then stand up and read surah fatiha and a surah (for the second qadha rakah) but will stand up after the second sajdah as you will be doing your third rakah in total..
at the last rakah, since it is your third rakah that was missed, you will only read surah fatiha and finish off the salah as normal:)

i think u will not read surah after the fatiha in the 3rd rakaat....
