i’m surprised to see this unique bus, the SLEEPER bus whic has sleeping berths, just like on Indian Trains. i lived in Allahabad for quite sometimes and i never heard of the existence of such a bus, let alone having seen one.

also, i never saw such a large group of westerners in Allahabad. amazing!**

^ yes,I have :) But onboard some buses ,you will really feel that you will fall down at times when buses take curves and bumpy roads.

Most of these ply between Bengaloru and Kerala.

achchhaa…thankoo for the info…qasam se i love travelling on indian railways…especially shatabdi fore day journeys and rajdhani for longer journeys involving nights…

…my dream is to someday take that luxury train trip…palace on wheel, or rajasthan on wheels, or Deccan Odyssey or Golden chariot…may be set that aside for my honeymoon :slight_smile: :5:**

i've no clue...they must have it, iguess. but as Arleiter said its bit dangerous on Indian/Pakistani roads where bumps and untrained/uncourteous drivers will accidentally knock the sleeping passengers off of their berths. i wudn't dare to take a night trip on these buses in india/pakistan. indian trains are much more safer, comfortable and enjoyable.**
