First of all let me start by, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. For the past one month, all i have been reading is, Pak’s bowling line up is better without sami and akhtar, this and that. I am looking at the score board and i see West Indies made 339/4 in 50 overs. This is horrible to say the least. Rana allowed 77 runs in 9 overs. I remember many people in this forum said Rana was better than Akhtar, and that Sami is useless. Don’t let your blind hate for Akhtar cloud your judgement. Its always Akhtar who gets the last laugh, without him Pakistan’s team is a car without an engine. If Akhtar and Sami were playing a team like West Indies would have never gotten soo many runs. You guys know it, but are too ignorant to say it. Regardless i hope you all have come your senses…

oh yaar, take a chill pill. don't tell me that Akhtar never got smacked for more than 75 runs in an ODI. No body says that Rana is better than Akhtar, its just that AKhtar breaks down so frequently now that people hate that. And also, check out Sami how he has fared in last few months I'm sure people like you will still keep him.

Well, Sami is equally miserable, if not more. What was the big difference when he was in the side. I bet he would have got his share of spanking had he been in the side.
Shoaib is a different story but lets not discuss it here. We already have a number of threads dedicated to Shoaib and this one should not be another one of those.

Paki man, first of all come out with your real nick.
Second of all, Shoaib needs his head check out as soon as possible. Otherwise we better off losing in the same way as today. We have lost more matches in his presence than winning.
On the other side, with the current injury ratio, he will be finished in next two years anyway. So we need to find out a solution without him, sooner or later.

Akhtar needs his mental fitness more than physical. Thinks as if he is the only one in the world who can bowl. Pakistan needs to shape some fast bowlers under Wiqi/wasim/imran. It is just that we are hatting young bowlers because there is a huge tough time for them, for which they are not ready. Muhammad Sami, Shabbir Ahmed, Rana, Iftikhar. They all needed to be shaped, and in the presence of some competition between them, we can hope for some thing better. :)
