OK by me since this thread is about interpretation of punishments in Scriptures.........
The punishment for homosexual acts it seems was so horrible that humans were "forbade not even to witness it".................

And the one person who witnessed it was turned into a pillar of Salt
Therefore one can assume Allah gave us clear warning about homosexuality........also since he did not want humans to witness the punishment.....we were denied its knowledge........Allah reserves that to himself........all we can do now is remind people of this warning.....
That is one man's opinion...I am sure scholars may disagree.

I must mention here that if a person is sure a certain law is interpreted the wrong way, it is that citizen’s duty to voice his/her opinion about it being wrong to make people consider…
