a serious question

really this is serious mamaof3 don’t delete this one!

i am genuinely curious as to why there are so many indians are on Pakistani forums ( dawn forums as another example )

Re: a serious question

Jhoom, I;m not quite sure why you singled me out here, I rarely "delete" threads and am very interested in learning about and accepting of other cultures!

As to your question, I really dont know...perhaps its an access issue, I've heard so many complaints from family in Pak that the power is very intermittent and internet access not reliable. That could have an impact I;m sure.

But theres also this brotherhood/sisterhood of desis. Once you live in a foreign land, it no longer seems to matter who is from India and who is from Pak. You share SO very much culture-wise And its very nice to see the brotherhood/sisterhood develop, without regard to regional politics. Perhaps I think those who can distance themselves this little bit, distance themselves from the politics of it all...those are the ones who will at last develop an accord that is acceptable to all.

Like it or not, people from Pak are very much compatible with the people of India,

Re: a serious question

Jhoom, Mamaof3 is not ALLVIEWs mod. Instead of assuming something, in future contact ALLVIEWS mods if you have some query.
now back to the topic, why we should not allow Indian members here? Are you saying we are so insecure that we can't tolarete some Indian voices here?

Re: a serious question

one problem with people is jumping to conclusions. i never said don't allow, just a simple q

Re: a serious question

...was it answered to your satisfaction?

Re: a serious question

^ That was the answer to your OTHER question in OTHER thread, which you thought mamaof3 deleted. :-)
Now answer to THIS question, well it's paklinks charm which brings them here.

Re: a serious question

Bless you, Xeno, and you are quite right....the Pakistanis that I've met are by far the most charming people on the planet.

Pakiz that you have met, are you not one ?

Re: a serious question

^ haha News for you! it's not just Indians on Paklinks, we also have some caucasians members.

Mamaof3:- arn't we a bunch of charming fellows!

Re: a serious question

when i think of Caucasian i think of vampires :(

Re: a serious question

^ and why is that! watching too many 3rd rate stereotype vampire movies?

EDIT: moving this thread to cafe, as it's about vampires and daywalkers now.

oh:blush::wwnn:

Re: a serious question

I am also so very genuinely **not **curious. Get on with it. Enjoy and get me some lemonade. Giddiup...

I don't see any Pakistani or Indian here................................all I see is friends...............so get over your tunnel vision and spread the word of friendship rather than planting another seed of classification......................:)

What you think simple is not simple............................If its too simple then , lets not say these kind of simple questions...........................Every problem starts simple and gets complicated, complicated enough to handle........................:)

( THIS IS MY LAST POST IN THIS THREAD ) I THINK I HAVE ENOUGH SAID & IF I SAY ANYTHING MORE THEN IT WILL NOT BE SIMPLE ENOUGH..............................:)

Re: a serious question

^ i like his point

next u’ll be differentiating between humans and lamas :nahi:

Hey NV, mind if i ask u something?

I can quite assure you jhoom, that I do not drink blood nor have any desire to do so....well maybe in YOUR case I'd make an exception.

THIS is a forum for desi discussion, friends, celebrations, chat etc. GUPSHUP. NOT a forum for an "us versus THEM" type of thing.

Re: a serious question

I am the winner…:hooray:

if you will see, there are alots of Pakistanis as well who use to login in Indian forums, I dont think there is anything or any point to be worried or thinkable.

We Pakistani's must welcome everyone any nationality except Israel to our forums.

:)
