A serious answer needed

Salaam!!
This is a qwik question on behalf of one my friends, she is married and is trying for a baby.
I have heard somewhere that if you fast for 7 days and repeat 3 names before breaking your fast, with a glass of water, you will be blessed and inshallah fall pregnant, is this true, can anyone please expand on this?
thanks
Khfz

sounds more like a desi totkaa ...

it might be, but this is something that she heard from a frend of hers, whos a practicing muslim gal..

there is no room for such beliefs in Islam.....getting pregnant is in Allah's hand.....all one can do is pray and then leave the rest the HIM.....

i agree with you totally, but just wanted some opinions on this, thanks anyway

never heard of such totka. and what "3 names" are you talking about?

how about consulting a doctor and find out the reasons for infertililyt?

ok, this is word for word what my mate sent to me in a txt msg...

Ya Kaliq ya bari ya musawwir, if a woman who desires a child, fasts for 7 days and each day at the time of breaking fast repeats these names 21 times and breathes into a glass of water, and breaks fast with this water, inshallah Allah will bless her with a child.

I have no idea, if that is true or not. But this is a dua that is in one of the books we have, when I was jsut married, my mother would tell me to do it, I have no idea if this is good or not:

But it says to take even peaces of apple, and right on it 'ja Moenie'moe'
and then eat it on an empty stomach during seven days.

walla o alim

I wonder if all this is true or not, I don't know what the ahadith say on this matter! Sometimes we do something we think is good, but then it's wrong and doesn't help and on top of it we get punished. So I guess your friend should think carefuly before doing anything at all.

thanks for that sadya a proper answer at last, so did u try this at all? and did anything good come out of it, when were u married? and if u dont mind me askin, do you have kids?

You're welcome, I have no idea if this is helpful or not, you'd better get good information from a reliable source, before your friend does something that is not good.

I have kids, but I don't know if it is becuase of that apple or not, lol, I only did it one day, because my Mom told me too, when I was just married, afterwards, I didn't compelte the days, becasue it seems so strange to cut an apple, write on it and eat it. Maybe it is really helpful, I don't know, but it seems strange to me personally, no offense to people who really do believe this. I was married in 1995, nikkah, but the European wedding was in 1996. And I became mother in 1997, so I have no idea if that apple helped or not....

Let me tell you an easy way ... pray regularly and ask for whatever you need from God after the prayers. you dont need to do any totka for anything you need from God.

Also pray after the Aazan too. That is also in Hadees (I am not sure if this is also mentioned in quran or not).

pray..and at the same time take advantage of all the advancements in medical sciences, of knowledge that god has blessed humans with.

If it's written in her destiny to have a child, then by the Grace of Allah SWT she will. Allah SWT knows best.

Not too sure about the above method.

The 3 names you mentioned are all attributes of Allah SWT.
