Hi everybody.
So i thought id give you a little update :)
First thankyou for the kind messages from you all on here and privately!
When he first came i was shaking i had to leave and then come back!! But at first all the family were sitting together and all chatting, then me and him were sent to a different room to chat and it was fine!!
I cant even explain it...right now i feel overwhelmed!! i am going to open a new thread and ask for advice on a whole bunch of new questions in my mind!!!

So, you don't know yet if it's a "yes" or a "no" from them?
Whatever happens (whether it's an acceptance or a rejection), I wish you the best. Allah's got a plan for everyone. You've created a couple of threads where you were worried about the issue of marriage......and if this one goes through....it just goes to show that sometimes you have to wait.

I am so happy for you. I remember now, you’re the one that started the threads about where have all the good men gone a couple months back. You found a good man, and he does seem to be everything you hoped he would be,congrats 
, i hope everything goes well for you two and i’m hoping to see what your wedding dress looks like or atleast engagement pics in the wedding forum. lol…sorry, i’m jumping way into the future here, take it slow. good luck

talking to the dad in law is probably a pretty nerve racking/stressful ordeal for men

I know its an important milestone in your life, but more you put your mind on it, more it could hurt if God Forbid something does not go well.
Just relax. And pray whatever happens eventually leads to greater good.

why does he want to contact your dad? to tel him whether or not he accepts the rishta??
