Tonight, we are honored to stand here as the parents of Capt. Humayun Khan, and as patriotic American Muslims with undivided loyalty to our country.

Like many immigrants, we came to this country empty-handed. We believed in American democracy — that with hard work and the goodness of this country, we could share in and contribute to its blessings.

We were blessed to raise our three sons in a nation where they were free to be themselves and follow their dreams.

Hillary Clinton was right when she called my son “the best of America.”

If it was up to Donald Trump, he never would have been in America.

Donald Trump consistently smears the character of Muslims. He disrespects other minorities, women, judges, even his own party leadership. He vows to build walls and ban us from this country.

Donald Trump, you are asking Americans to trust you with our future. Let me ask you: Have you even read the U.S. Constitution? I will gladly lend you my copy. In this document, look for the words “liberty” and “equal protection of law.”

Have you ever been to Arlington Cemetery? Go look at the graves of the brave patriots who died defending America — you will see all faiths, genders, and ethnicities.

You have sacrificed nothing and no one.

We can’t solve our problems by building walls and sowing division.

We are Stronger Together.

And we will keep getting stronger when Hillary Clinton becomes our next President.

I was driving in my car with my uncle and two cousins while listening this convention when the honorable father was asked to come after Karim Abdul Jabbar finished his speech.

Throughout his speech we all were silent and deeply engrossed in each word he was saying as if its poking everyone of us. And when he finished I looked towards my uncle and he was all tearful.

Enough said.

Now we have to put a bookmark to this historic speech and slam it on the face of every republican when they say muslims hate america or they have done nothing for this country.

It would have been so easy for him to pay his respects to the bereaved family and shift the blame to Hillary by pointing out that she supported the Iraq war that killed their son. What kind of a campaign is Trump running? Does he have complete amateurs as advisors? It would have been so easy for him to pay his respects to the bereaved family and shift the blame to Hillary by pointing out that she supported the Iraq war that killed their son. His campaign is a joke. He did later point out in a tweet that hillary supported the Iraq war, not him. He has a big mouth and often changes his statements.

His campaign is a joke indeed, but a strong joke at that. Despite his flailing, and despite Bernie throwing his weight behind Hillary, she is still on-again-off-again against Trump. Lets face it. Trump has a very decent following, and he has managed to scare a lot of people into towing his line. Hillary will have to give it her best in order to win the election. It wont be a walkover for sure.

Fear mongering technique, the way this arrogant is leading the campaign I doubt if he listens to his advisers. Just look at his facial expression how he responds to criticism, something he does not like. If god forbid he becomes president, he will definitely will be last president of US.
