i know there are so many situations like this, but it seems it always hits you much harder when its more personal
we have some family friends, my best friend’s taiee to be exact…and she is dying of cancer 
my best friend is so devestated
they excpected to lose her earlier…but by some miracle of Allah (SWT) she seemed to be getting better…in the last couple of days however…the doctor’s expected only a few more hours last night, but she’s still holding on today…anyhow, it’s supposed to be anytime now 
this woman is so loving, happy, and caring…i wasn’t even her niece and i called her taiee, and she loved me…i keep telling her son to tell her she has to come back and dance with me…she wanted lessons to dance at the next betas shadi 
but i never got to dance with her 
… one thing i admired about her was in our culture of in-law warfare, she was sooooooooo excited to have a daughter on law (she has 3 sons) and it was good to see someone love their bahu like she did…and mashallah, it was returned as the bahu has been helping take care of her…she was so excited about finally having a daughter, and she wanted to have grandkids and see her younger two sons get married
i’m not a big crier at all, but i keep finding myself in tears over this
the point of all this, i guess, is that really at this point the only thing left to do is pray…i’m one of those people who believes it’s not over til its completely over…so while its a very slim chance, there is maybe still some hope for he…or maybe at this point, God should take her, b/c i’m sure she’s in a lot of pain…whatever the case i’m sure Allah (SWT) knows best
Please, please, please just pray for her…
on a separate note…my other best friend (there are three of us girls who grew up together and they are close to me as my sisters) lost her Dadi unexpectedly on saturday…i don’t know what happened…ek dum se ghabraghayin…and by the time Dr came…she was gone :(… again, since these were close family friends of ours, we knew her Dadi very well…
In the depths of our pain and sadness, we have to remember everyone’s time comes eventually, and whatever Allah (swt) does it is for the best
So one last time, i ask that you guys please include these two people in your prayers…i would really appreciate it, and i’m sure my best friends would as well
for S’s Taiee…Allah (SWT) please ease her pain and take care of her as only you know how. If you decide to heal her, please help her give her and her family peace soon. If you decide to take her, please give her a peaceful rest in the grave, take care of her family, and save a place for her in Jannat. Ameen
for A’s dadi…Allah (SWT) she was also a very loving woman, and it saddens us that she’s never coming back to visit here again. Please give her family peace and ease their sadness. Please give her a peaceful rest in the grave, and reserve a place for her in Jannat. Ameen.
