A reipie for ghulab jaman

Hi guys,

I made ghulaab jaman the other day, and although it was my first ever time that I made them (and also the fact that I can’t cook) lol, they suprisingly turned out very nice…

So I thought I’d share my recipie with you…Please do try making them and let me know what you think…

Jamans:
Milk powder: 1Cup + 2tbspns
Maida (refined flour): 1tbspn
Bicarbonate soda: a quarter of a teaspoon
Cinnemon powder: half teaspoon
Butter/ghee: 4 teaspoons.

Water (to knead mixture)

Sheera:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon lemon

Instructions:
Mix all the jaman ingredients in a bowl…Then add enough water so you can turn the powder in to a dough like mixture…Once the dough is ready, make very small balls.

To make the sheera, add water and sugar and start heating…keep this on a low heat. Add the lemon juice.

Heat some oil in a wok. Please make sure that you do not over heat the oil, just keep it warm…

Then add a few balls to the oil and deepfry them on a low heat…Deepfry until you have the desired colour of the balls (its hould be a mid-brown).

Remove from the balls from the oil and add them to the sheera so that the balls can soak the sheera up…

Finished :)…Now serve them warm and enjoy…

I hope this recipie turns out well for you all and plz do let me know how it goes…
