A Reason to Worry!!

**Applicants for admissions to BBA programs must have completed Intermediate (or equivalent High School Certificate) at the time of interview. Applicants whose final results have not been announced at the time of interview (if otherwise eligible) should not have any deficiency in their previous intermediate exam results. “A” level students must have their results at the time of interview. **

Above is an extract from the website of a leading Pakistan University describing the Admission Process for this year.

What worries me is the fact that the A-Level Results are not published till the end of July or beginning of August. Although I’m not applying for admission this year but I will be doing so next year and unless this procedure changes i may have to waste a year if I wish to study in this particular university.

It also leaves me wondering why the university discriminates between Intermediate and A-Level students. They can present their previous results while we have to have our results.

An alternative for me would be to appear for my A-Level exams in November, but my school will not allow me to do so. That would leave me with the option of appearing as a private candidate, and withdrawing from school which would leave me without any credits from school which play an important role in the admission process.

Any suggestions?? I cannot decide what my next step should be. I plan to give a call to the university and find out what they advice in this case but as yet have been too lazy to do so. (*smackiing myself)

Any advice from you people would be highly appreciated.

nakhray na karo…had haram! :hehe: call them up and find out what iba folks have to say. i am sure if you present your case in a reasonable manner..you will find a decent answer. call iba and ask for admissions office :stuck_out_tongue:
