A rather odd name?

Has anyone heard of the name Lanthiee it apparently means some sort of bird, the reason being is that I have an old uncle who passed away and we found out this was his real name?

He lived in the NW frontier province so was thinking it might be a pashto name?

Anyway any help would be great, coz as I said it’s a rather odd name. And no I’m not thinking of changin my own name by deed poll I’m happy with Thap Thappar

Re: A rather odd name?

That's a bit rich coming from someone called Thap.

Anyway yes, it is a pashtoon name as far as a I know, albeit one that's dying out (for obvious reasons)
