Re: A Railway Pilgrimage In Pakistan

Now it works. Okay, which Urdu novel is being referred here?

" She is reading an Urdu novel about a romance between a Sunni boy and a girl from the Ahmedi community—members of which, according to Pakistani law, are considered non-Muslims. In the end, the girl renounces her faith to be the boy"

BTW, the article is quite interesting. Thanks for sharing. I just don’t like the way the writer jumped from Hyderabad to Bahawalpur.

Pakistan → Khawateen digest = India → Star Plus

Re: A Railway Pilgrimage In Pakistan

don’t worry mate, it wasn’t because of enmity or discrimination towards sindh, it was because she was sleeping : D

I’ve traveled by Khayber Mail many times, it leaves at 9-10 at night, after Hyderabad there is nothing to see before Rohri, not because there is nothing noticeable, but because of dark and no regular stops. one goes to sleep after Hyderabad. Train reaches Rohri before dawn and by the time you wake-up at 6-7am, you are in Punjab already. First noticeable stop in Punjab is Samma Sattha, just 10 minutes before Bahawalpur.

Re: A Railway Pilgrimage In Pakistan

oh I understood, but i didn't take it enmity. I just wanted to know how she found areas in between Hyderabad and Bahawalpur.
