Re: A quick question

my achi khasi round roti changes shape once it's on the tawa, it somehow shrinks and takes on any shape other than 'round' :(

ammi, on the other hand, makes perfectly round rotis note to self: *inherit ammi's roti making skill*

Re: A quick question

I only know of one guy. He isn’t tall, dark or handsome. . . but if you put enough work into him, i’m sure he can make decently round rotis…

Teach him how to be the perfect guy sobi…

Re: A quick question

Yes, i wanna know how many married round rotis there are. . .and how many unmarried ones.

If any of you round roti makers (married or not) are in florida, feel free to come by and teach my husband how to make round rotis.

He’s married now. It’s about time he learned

Re: A quick question

I can teach him how to make a round roti out of you, no problemo :smokin:

Re: A quick question

yea i can make round roties...not married yet though...but since i m the only girl in the family, i learned cooking at a very young age to help my mom around...and no, shape does not determine whether its good or whatever.

Re: A quick question

I am married and make good round rotis but if taste is good the shape doesn't matter.

Re: A quick question

ok, i’m single and don’t know how to make rotis..i have tried my hands on it onnce when i was in grade 8..it turned out round but when i put it on tawa, it was anything but a naram garam roti:bummer: ..was screaming to be called a PAPAD:snooty: ..i didn;t throw it out since i always heard ammi and nani saying RIZK KO PHENKNA NAHI CHAHIYE so i ate it anyway ( only i know how) but after that, i have never dared making rotis ever again.

P.S. i have made besan ki rotis though and they turned out very delicious..the go0d thing i like about besan ki roti is that nobody really cares about the shape and it’s not as soft as chapati anyway so it’s all go0d:halo:

Re: A quick question

Geek, if you want to make rotis for me, go ahead and say so. Dun be shy…
