Should women with a pale complexion wear pale lipsticks or something bright/dark? Or rather, from what you’ve seen , which seem to suit such a person?

umm doesnt any colour suit paler looking people? i have an aunt whose like snowwhite.. she looks gorgeous in reds.. whereas her daughter whose just as white wears more lighter and glossier colours... looks gorgeous...

Anything natural.. I personally think women with pale complexion shouldn't even bother wearing a lipstick. A light pink colored lip gloss really helps even though I look like a bhooth with lipstick/lip-gloss on. However, lipsticks make your features stand out. It also depends on the kind of make up you put on on regular basis. Usually, whatever blush you use, that's the color of your lipstick should be. If you like dark eye-makeup, I suggest you wear a light colored lipstick --it looks gorgeous. :)

With a light complexion soft shades look nice, like a peach or rosy tone. But for more dramatic lips red is great too if you go easy on the eye make-up. It's all about balance.

I have a very pale complexion (never tan, just burn) and wearing light lavender and lilac toned lipsticks really work. I was told this by someone I consulted and I didn't believe her til she showed me with a few colors. Anything dark looks harsh (too painted) and anything red washes out my complexion more. Natural looks on a woman are beautiful.

Well I think lavenders and lilacs look good on them. I just love such lipsticks esp if they have a shimmer to them. Personally I think lights look better as opposed to the dark shades.
Clear lip gloss looks great too. A natural look is something I also agree with.

You ain't pale mq, you have a good shade of brown to your color. You definitely aren't "pale".

MQ - you know mostly my skin looks pale. and many people told me not to wear pale lip colors but you know i used to like em alot i did. and now i see those same ladies wearing those same colors on their "artificially made up pale skin". know what i mean?
so it's all in the attitude. i guess.
although i avoid wearing pale colors now that someone has told me that i must wear, bright colors if i wanna be a star (call me superstitious).
