A question..

I don’t know if this question makes any sense but I was just wondering that those people who are poor and cant afford luxuries of life are less sinful (majority of them) than those who are rich/wealthy? I was having discussion with my sister today and my point was: Yes they are less sinful since they cant afford many of the things which should be avoided as well like TV, radio, music and that’s why they get more time to recite Quran and understand it. Similarly they have less money to spend on useless things which what we call is fozool kharchi.

Your comments and thoughts are most welcome.

PS: I don’t want to have discussion on TV and music that why this is wrong and why this shouldn’t be and blah blah. Just want to hear your views regarding the topic of discussion.

Well, the Bible says that it's easy for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven...

at the same time they have a less chance of earning hasanaat by giving charity, doing other social welfare deeds, building mosques, etc etc....

its a fair deal i think....

Allah is Fattah, Hakam & Adal. Which means that His justice is absolute. And when he will judge among people, each and everything will be noted and considered.

You cannot expect a poor guy born in tribal settings of Africa be judged the same as a son of a monarch. Though, they both will be given justice.
