Its a misconeception that drinking a lot of water helps kidneys, liver or heart, it does not and studies have shown it.

Now people who claim that there skin appears better when they drink a lot of water it could for one of these reasons

1- They are convinced that water makes skin healthy and thus when they drink they just feel their skin is better, “placebo effect”

2- If you drink too much water, your face will become puffy, some of teh wrinkes may smoothen out, colour of skin will become less dark and hence the feeling that skin looks better.

3- Bottled water in some places has been found to contain chemicals that mimic female sex hormones, estrogen, which increases water content of skin and gives a freshened up look.
