A Question To All Muslim Brothers & Sisters

:salam2:

What you think? When a Muslim disrespect the Quran? Here I’m not asking about physical or verbal damage / abusive words and/or acts. What I would like to ask that a Muslim complete all necessary/mandatory things i.e., ablution, reading in a clean & neat places, wearing clean cloths etc., before reading the Quran and also he/she read with accurate pronunciation (Tajweed) as well, but still an act, a single act of his/her might be disrespecting the Holy Qur’an?

If so that what it could be? Please share you views :jazak:

Note: Just asking in general with a purpose to educate ourselves and encouraging us that how we may read Quran and shouldn’t be disrespect to it in any sense.

Misaal de kay wazey karain....

Re: A Question To All Muslim Brothers & Sisters

was brother lk, the most disrespectful thing mankind do to this book is ignore reading it for understanding its message properly.

It is because receiving a message will make no sense if it was received only to be ignored.

God, a proof based fact or a mere fiction?

Re: A Question To All Muslim Brothers & Sisters

verse 25:74)
And those who, when they are reminded of the Signs of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat;

those who actually fall deaf and blind on the Ayat are disrespectful

Re: A Question To All Muslim Brothers & Sisters

Walaikumussalam Warahamatullah..

there are rights of Quran upon all of us..

believe in it..

Recite it

Understand it

act upon it

To call to it

So Alhamdulilah we believe in Quran...we respect usually it by keeping it in safe place..never touch it without wadoo...but we disrespect it by not following it completely..what if we respect in all ways but we dont act upon it..we feel hard to act upon even knowing that we will be punished maazAllah for this thing...i dont think more than this could be a disrespect of Quran...that you are blessed with life by Allah subhan taAllah..you cant even read Quran on daily even a single ayat...how unfortunate the person is who is blessed with healthier life but he or she doesnt find time for Quran on daily basis not even five mins...is it sad?what if you are reading salah daily n you dont even know the meaning of surah fatiha ?

may Allah make us among those who fulfil the rights of Quran Ameen

Re: A Question To All Muslim Brothers & Sisters

Different orders for touching and reading .

Re: A Question To All Muslim Brothers & Sisters

Couldn’t really think of anything which fits the Bill after your introduction. The only thing that I can think of is to use your recitation as proof of your own Greatness. Among the summary of some hadiths I have heard is about the hypocrisy of some Qura (reciters) and scholars, which I guess will be misinterpretation along the lines of Taghut, but in the summary it was said to be munafiqs. I don’t know how ordinary Muslims can disrespect the Quran after fulfilling your criteria, they have given a great respect

Re: A Question To All Muslim Brothers & Sisters

Ameen.

Peace vroom,

Read the post of Tahurra :)

Re: A Question To All Muslim Brothers & Sisters

salam lethal, I had read the post of Tahurra, and do not disagree with its wording. I guess some things just come from Allah Most Merciful like understanding

People have read the Quran, and implemented it, with their own understanding. People have come to different conclusions

The one reciting it in the manner you have described is not in Need of our advice, they have Allah who takes care of them

Re: A Question To All Muslim Brothers & Sisters

:wsalam: & Peace vroom,

What about those who read it just like a book? precisely speaking they know how to read but don’t understand its meaning? Do they need our advice or not?

Re: A Question To All Muslim Brothers & Sisters

Well I was listening to Muzaffar Hussain Shah the other day and he said not everyone has to do these things, including Jihad pointing to the verse forbidding everyone from going forward. For knowledge matters it is same, some people learn and they bring back the Knowledge to their community, and then it becomes incumbent upon them to follow. Although I do realise we have hit a snag I think the people who do not know the meaning yet recite in the manner described in op are upon a level that is High, unsurpassable even. I say unsurpassable because we can not weigh our deeds against someone else.

If they recite like just a book without fulfilling the conditions set out in op then that is disrespectful, but if they do it like op then yes they are not in need of our advice. They have a link to the most Blessed Advice. What they see outside when they open their doors is us

Basically what i am considering these days, not a concrete belief, but a theory is that these ordinary simpletons are people from the people of Paradise! The fact that they are not proud (not easy these days) and recite the Kalima is what helps them. As for everything else, well the environment is stacked against them

for this purpose i need understanding from a scholar regarding a couple of Hadiths. Rough Translation with my current interpretation 'do not give leadership to those who ask for it' and 'get yourself away from all of it even eat grass if you have to''
