A Question to Ahmadis

Jews don’t believe that Mohammad was a prophet, in the way they believe in other Jewish Prophets. They don’t even consider Jesus as a Prophet of God.

Christians don’t believe that Mohammad was a prophet, in the way they believe in Biblical prophets.

Muslims believe in all Biblical Prophets, and claim all of them to be their own. Furthermore, Muslims claim that all Biblical Prophets were Muslim.

Ahmadis believe in all Prophets as other Muslims do.

My question is that should Ahmadis consider all Prophets to be Ahmadis? Or should a distinction be made, that Jesus, Yakoob, Yehya, Yonus, etc. were Jews, and not Ahmadis. What is your take on this? I personally think that Jesus would make an outstanding Ahmadi with his non-violent doctrine.

The second question is what do you think that the Prophets’ opinion would be of current day Mullahs.

We are all hindus at the end of the day. So it doesn't matter.

Ram Ram, Matsui. Are you suggesting that the majority of Hindus did not revert to Islam when the invaders came, and only who reverted were those of weak faith, and mostly under brutality? I know that court musicians under Moghal rule had no choice but to revert (caz, they couldn't get a job if they did not), but what about others? Bhaijan, it is not important what were are at the end of the day, what is important is that what we were at the beginning of the day. I have been an Ahmadi since day 1, but I can't say the same about you. I believe that the biggest dupe of the bliss is the concept of monotheism, under the disguise of which one claims others to be his.

How would you feel if some Molvi laid claim on Radha to be a Muslim, hence eligible to be his wife?

I was just showcasing the farce of the convenient claim that everyone is born into a prticular religion or in the end is of a particular faith. All faiths are valid. The way I look at it, people devised their own way to reach god through what was prevalent and needed for their ownselves and the society at large at that time.

Barbarians may have needed a strong hand to drive the point home while people in the east may not have. Whether you belive in allah, the holy ghost or the Divine Spark, it is the same thing, you have different channels. It depends on your cable operator what is available in your area.

And with that I fully agree. But I know that many would not. By the way, God comes in many more ways than you think. I watched the Graduate last night for the umpteenth time, and Simon says (in the Sound of Silence): "The words of the Prophets are written on subway walls", and it brought tears to my eyes.

You show me a good Scotch, and I will show you a Prophet.

It is silly to think that knowledge and divinity/spirituality lies with the few or the self proclaimed chosen ones. For the dogmatics, god must have been very bad at math if he/she thinks that a few people in the desert or a few people near the saraswati would be the torchbearers for his/her words.

NYA Bhaijaan, you can claim that all previous prophets were Ahmadis but I doubt anyone of them were from New York.

Matsui Bhaijaan, you talk of God as if you know Her very well! But then, I thought you didn't even believe in one! Which Ahmadi showed you the way?

AJ, it was your sweet batting of the eyelashes that made me convert to matsuism from chaltahaism.

Hazrat Ali (R.A.) stated that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said: "A time will come when nothing will remain of Islam except its name and nothing will remain of the Quran except its script. Mosques will be full of worshippers, but as far as righteousness is concerned they will be empty and deserted. Their ‘Ulama’ (religious scholars) will be the worst of creatures under the canopy of the heavens. Evil plots will originate from them and to them will they return."

(Mishkat - Vol. 1, Kithabul Ilm - 3rd part, Page: 121, Hadith No: 276 [79] )

hmmmmm…interesting…

PG…does a peacefull , non violent, very practicing and pious mullah who also happend to be believing in khatame nabuwat and that there is no prophet after Mohammed :saw:… also fall into that catagory ???

I think they dont come in this catogary, but I saw all those Mullahs who claim that AnHz Mohammad(saw) is the last Prophet attack us in all ways.

I dont know the name of the Ulema , he was a Dr and was killed 2 years ago, he was non ahmadi, by i was FAN of him, cuz he preaching and msg was about loving eachother and present a GOOD name of Islam.
Through me, all my family members always saw his Dars ul Quran.

I am sure that Jews have written volumes to justify that Jesus was not the promised Missiah i.e Christ, in the same manner that "muslims" have hounded you guys over Ghulam Ahmed Qadini's claims. Albeit, I'll give my own two cents worth here, if it matters.
You may give me the age-old speil of Muslims, that the Bible is corrupt and not a credible source, However to me, and all other christians, the world over, it is the only one......
.......And Christ Himself warned against false prophets and messiahs.

Matthew 24
23At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. 24For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible. 25See, I have told you ahead of time.
26"So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. 27For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

May be you are talking about Dr. Ghulam Murtaza Malik. No doubt, he was great Aalim and a very non-controvertial personality. He was one of very few Aalims who actually preached islam. Sadly he was killed by some fanatics.:(

Yes exactly, he was really nice Ulema, BUT unfortunetly in our good “Islamic” country Pakistan, the one who is GOOD is killed by some idiots whose have NO knowlege about Islam.
