Re: A question regarding the Saudi Request for Yemen
How different would Pakistani air strikes in Yemen be different to the US drone strikes in Pakistan? Are these halal certified strikes?

Re: A question regarding the Saudi Request for Yemen
We need to keep in mind that US drone strikes have helped strengthening alqaeda in Yemen. I personally think this houthi revolt can also be attributed to the strengthening of alqaeda in the country.

Re: A question regarding the Saudi Request for Yemen
Because their president asked. Oh wait, gillani also said we would make hue and cry in public but fire away in FATA.

Re: A question regarding the Saudi Request for Yemen
Pakistan shouldn’t have gotten involved in Saudi mess. It should just be limited to logistical support without military intervention now that the gov’t is supporting it. Its already bogged down by FATA operation and internal terrorism.
Re: A question regarding the Saudi Request for Yemen
My bigger problem is Houti are not bunch of lost guys gathered by some Intelligence agency and have come from half way across the world… They are local and are fighters, they use to give real tough time to Ottoman Turks…Pakistani ground troops would have heavy casualties and would be no where near to win the war.
This is my prime concern…
2ndly, Houti are locals, and if they have over powered the govt and govt have ran away, then let them form govt…after all like IS they have not came from outside, it is there home land…if KSA, and other gulf states think it is wrong then there is simple solution, have economic blockade of Yemen. KSA can bring the oil prices further down and can really harm Iranian economy who are supporting Houti…along with banning yemenies today enter Gulf states and having any kind of trade with them…this will force people turn against the Houties…and they may take care of Houties…
This war is going to create more complications then we already have.
Re: A question regarding the Saudi Request for Yemen
Pakistan should be negotiator, not participant in Yemen conflict: Imran - Pakistan - DAWN.COM
Re: A question regarding the Saudi Request for Yemen
Imran’s POV is absolutely correct. I think we are the only nation in the world that invites trouble by unnecessarily poking nose in others problems. apne masle sanbhale nahin jatey aur dosroon ka bojh uthaney chal partey hain
Re: A question regarding the Saudi Request for Yemen
this is what govt have to say, they are doing to intervene if there is danger to the geographical integrity of KSA
i guess this is fine
Re: A question regarding the Saudi Request for Yemen
Answering this question precisely, I’d say its Govt.'s responsibility. Period. Now its a whole different debate how the processes (do not) work in Pakistan and how (unfortunately) Army has more say over civilian heads. But Govt should decide and they have to take the responsibility for that decision.
