"As usual, Indians are involved in match fixing. These Indians will eventually destroy the game of cricket forever. Paisaa is the only Bhagwann Indians have and they can drop to any limits for earning it. "
Since this is a serious allegation levelled against me (me being an Indian) and my Bhagwan…would you please elborate.
Also…side questions…Was Salim Malik an Indian..and Hansie Cronje…did he pray to Bhagwan too ?
Neither of Malik, Warne, Waugh, Gibbs, Cronje etc were Indians but one way or the other they were connected to Indian bookies. Everyone knows that Indians have been the core of this problem, they have spoiled the game of cricket and lots of people stopped watching cricket because of those match fixing scandals. Lots of players have been involved in match fixing, some got away and some got busted but INDIANS were involved one way or another in MOST of the match fixing scandals.
Ok...so the root of the problem is in India where people are willing to give bribes...and not in Pakistan, South Africa and Australia where people are willing to accept bribes.
Got it my friend...you are smart.
Next time...when you have to bribe a policeman in Pakistan ...don't blame him for taking bribes...the root of the problem is YOU.
Well first of all, I sincerely apologize if I hurt your feelings. Most of the guys at this forum and World Affairs forum know that I am a pretty secular guy but of course the first and foremost lesson of secularism is to respect others’ beliefs and values without compromising yours. Therefore, I assure you that I did not insult anyone’s religious emotions on purpose but obviously while emphasizing on Indian bookies’ role in match fixing, I did cross that sensitive borderline.
In respond to your question that why I think that Indians will destroy the game of cricket, mysterious guy has already answered your question in a best possible way .I don’t want to add one more word to his reply.
However, instead of blaming whole Indian nation, I should have blamed Indian bookies. Probably that would have made my allegation politically correct.
Hmmmm…so you can’t see the difference between policemen DEMANDING money from you AND bookmakers OFFERING you money???
I think you are trying to be oversmart by comparing POLICEMEN and bookmakers.
Anyway read my post ABOVE, i said both sides are to be blamed.
Let’s put it this way, if YOU are to stop this match fixing, Would you :
1- like to see talented cricketers such as Warne, Cronje, Malik, Azhar, Waugh, Gibbs etc getting BANNED forever.
OR
2-You would eliminate the bookies and gangsters who don’t just fix matches by offering money but issue life threats, blackmailing etc as well to make hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Quite right. Just as an FYI match-fixing was first alleged in Sharjah. Though I will concede that most (if not all) bookies have been found to be Indians. I believe it has to do with the sheer craze for the game in the country, the size of the market in India and lax reach of the law in the country and nothing to do with “only bhagwan Indians know is Paisaa”.
Ever wondered why shareef players like Tendulkar, Dravid, Youhanna etc tend not to be approached by bookies.
Azhar/Malik etc are/were unscrupulous characters(I don’t care about their talent). Also, nobody ever threatened Cronje with a gun to accept the money. Infact I will say that Indian(Delhi) Police did an excellent job in unearthing the racket. I know when they first made their findings public, they were scoffed at.
