Re: A question for our Indian friends & foes on GS
Whats in a name? Its being a momeen/muslim is what matters. Alhumdullilah, I was born while hearing 'Laillahaillilah, Muhammadarasulullah' and inshAllah on my last breath I'll recite the same Kalimah.
Oh and you're not naming people Younis Kumar but you are naming them "Shahid Kappor" and "Aftab Shivpasani" , no?
DUDE.....JSYK...Shahid Kapoor's mom is a muslim and Aftabs's mom is a Parsi and that's the story behind their names.....I would luv to know, which one of your parents is Hindu ?

Neither. Anil and Anila are semi-common names in Pakistan.
Infact, there is an old Pakistani movie by the name of 'Anila'.
Re: A question for our Indian friends & foes on GS
it will b better if u seperate from religion … i dont know wat mr. kumar play role in ur religion…but Younis certainly is a very respectable name for us
Re: A question for our Indian friends & foes on GS
You must be a caveman then...,Even Americans know his name.
American"" is jus a nationality :D....there are several Pakistani with this nationality...(u tell, did india govt let u ppl to have dual nationality or u ppl still finding ways between east or west?:D)
Re: A question for our Indian friends & foes on GS
i was speaking of mod elections in one of indian forums.
I think we have them at this forum now no? Hence the Rep Power thing in the lower left corner... You can mention how sweet and wonderful guppies such as myself are and I guess thats what they take into account.
Hate to brag, but im like a 584 and your well... ahm ahm...;)
Re: A question for our Indian friends & foes on GS
seriously guys u r hilariuos and i sit here reading this from a womens point of view and yes i m indian but i fully agree on pakistani men YES they all r good looking and they do all stick by each other and another thing is i have never seen any indian man that can ever keep their word on anything it does not matter what it is especially they r rude from in and out … im pretty sure this is going to lit a spark in some of use… hey u can’t hold the truth and they always say the truth hurts like a needle going through ur skin…
Re: A question for our Indian friends & foes on GS
Roman,
I dont agree with this assumption of yours. In my experience I have found Indians very ignorant about Pakistan. Their knowledge of Pakistani politics ends with the name of head of state and name 1-2 political parties. Where as I have seen Pakistanis are more aware of Indian politics and Indian political parties. A pakistani will be more awre of Advani, Lalu, Pawar and Modi than an Indian who knows about Kasuri and all.
Re: A question for our Indian friends & foes on GS
Wow, you guys give yourselves a lot of credit. I notice humbleness isn't on the list of great attributes you assign yourselves. Could it be that Indians are less egocentric or self absorbed than Pakistanis?
u dont frequent any indian forums I suppose, take a sabbatical and go check em out, what we say in jest here (with the exception of anil and moin) many say seriously there.
Re: A question for our Indian friends & foes on GS
Is that your nice way of asking me to leave?
I don’t frequent Indian boards I suppose because I already interact with so many whenever I have a customer service call or visit the local Quickie Mart.
Re: A question for our Indian friends & foes on GS
khushboo, I agree with your “Pakistani men are good looking” statement everyday I look into the mirror…and seminole, dude, we’re totally humble 'n all. ok?
Re: A question for our Indian friends & foes on GS
I personally never knew much about Pakistanis before except the few Pakistani friends I had in college so since Pakistan has a bit of a mystery to it, it’s fun to find out more about Pakistanis and the culture.
the statement that’s in bold in your post is what I don’t agree with. If you look in the world affairs forum, religion, general and of course world entertainment there isn’t one day that goes by where Indian issues aren’t mentioned.
Re: A question for our Indian friends & foes on GS
Pakistanis I suppose arent really interested in India... Why should they be, Pakistani politics are far more interesting. Besides, India isnt anything special, we should know just as much or just as little about Iranian or Chinese or Afghan politics...
Personally cant figure out why Indians would want anything to do with Pakistan... I assume its because they think they have a duty to defend their country against Pakistanis on the net... Misplaced patriotism?
What do you know about Chinese politics? Do you even read Chinese news? When was the last time you scanned xinhua? Do you know what is Xie Zhenhua famous for? What is Hu Jintao's original profession?
