Okay, so for those of you that think the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) wrote the Quran...

The questions "why" has been answered. One would do this to keep society in line and have people think they will be getting a reward from it in the 'afterlife'.

Another question come about...
How could this man have been sure that people would follow him? How is it that the one messege by some scholar has been passed down by generations and is still practiced today? Furthermore, why would this man put his life on the line (as well as that of his family/friends) to get this messege out, when it still has the risk of being completely ignored by the people anyways?
