I have a question. Why would you be reluctant to have strangers see pictures of your wife/fiancee in the first place?
The only reason that comes to my mind is that some people may be reluctant to have contact with "na-mehrams" (in other words, people they are not related to). But, if you were so religious, you wouldn't take pics at all right (last time I checked, pics were declared haram)?
