How many of you would be okay being ghar damaad?
It actually irritates me to see *nikammay *guys going after girls of well-off families to marry them, for a bright future for themselves, & live with the girl’s family after marriage.

Re: A question for guys especially…
This is not good ![]()
Suppose a very rich family has only one daughter and can’t afford to send her away and want a ghar damad so what’s wrong ![]()
Anyway i’m already doing a nice job but can sacrifice for that needy family
After all they need a naik and sharif larka ![]()
Re: A question for guys especially…
Ohhh achaa…but if the family is filthy rich you can ask for a house in some posh area…or beside the parents’ house (hope they would be living in some posh area after all they are rich) ![]()
Please offer your naik services ![]()
Re: A question for guys especially…
That will be really nice of them, if they will give left side bungalow to their loved one SIL :cobra:
Re: A question for guys especially…
Most often, it’s the parents who are happy selecting such boys as their SILs & forcing them onto their daughters.
Re: A question for guys especially…
Many desi guys see marriage as a once in a lifetime opportunity towards having a bright future. Those who do not demand to live as ghar damad still want to get settled or support from the girl’s family. Many of the guys do not want to live as ghar damad (as they will be losing respect in the society) but have no issue in demanding financial support (as no one would know about this).
One word: Sick ![]()
Re: A question for guys especially...
i wunder what the girl and girls' parents see in those guys to accept the rishta? it's as much as their fault as it is this guy's who is no more than a flesh eatingh bacteria. :)
Re: A question for guys especially...
Depends on the situation - like if her parents are in a situation - where she is the only kid they have and need her to be around plus if they are willing the take rent from me - in such a case I dont mind it

If there is a genuine need, I dont mind. Like if my inlaws need me to be around, I would love to stay at their house and take care of them.
Re: A question for guys especially...
If there's a need, then mayyybeee. But, generally, No way.
Re: A question for guys especially...
Ive seen real ghar damaad that actually prefer to live with inlaws for free and get so comfortable they never leave.
Ive also seen men who live with their inlaws because it makes sense for both parties at the time...couple saves some money and also help inlaws out financially. In this scenario, it has worked beautifully and ended up strengthening their relationship over time.
Re: A question for guys especially...

i actually want to marry 4 women and be ghar damad at all 4 wives parents house.
so, I am looking for the following
chica in Hawaii
chica in rome
chica in hongkong
aside from that the usual holds true, looks, hotness, being loaded and very focused on serving me.
the hotness and looks can be waived if the girl is very open minded and has hot friends with loose moral character in general.
thanks
PS: these are not permanent roles, chicas will be rotated in and out of play, after separation, they are encouraged to reapply when a role becomes available
PS2: the girls or their families dont actually have to be at these locations but must own property in desirable parts of the target twons

I have personal aims and ambitions in life. I don't have much respect and generally don't associate with people who don't work hard or are completely lazy and waste of space.

Re: A question for guys especially…
I heard somewhere
guys said
if your father is poor.. its your kismat
but if your father in law is poor … then its your bewakoofi
So may be some men follow above rule ![]()
I have seen family where they have ghar damad.. but they have different circumstances. The guy belongs to very poor family and he fell in love with middle class girl. They were so in love that they were ready to take any action or run away. So girls family support their wedding and keep the guy at their place because he couldn’t support his family in separate house and his family was not willing to support them. They are still together and guy is still Ghar Damad. They don’t have any son so for them their damad is their son. So in this type of circumstances its OK.
But if a guy is ghar damad for some lalchi purpose then BIG NO. :nono:
