No i'm not saying that he should beat the crap of the parents or anything. All i'm saying is that if you know your parents are like that then just be honest with the grl that listen hun this is how my parents are and this is how it is and simple as that. But if you are gonna make promises like we'll be together forever then man up and stick to them and i think there are tons of other ways to convince your parents other than beating them.
Oh and about the line, i thought it was " kehte hain ishq jise ghalib, its all hormoes and crap"
