well as it is written in the book there will be many sects among mulims as qayamat approaches and finally there will be one muslim sect that will lead the way and emerge a winner
can you guys guess which sect that will be?

It's not written in The Book.. it may have been written somewhere in the story books that were written hundreds of years later.
We do not need to guess. The Prophet - salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam - has provided us with the answer: "... "That which i and my Companions are upon" [al-Tirmidhi]

this statement is very relative and as such has no contribution to the discussion: every single sect says that it is according to the 'Sunnah' and by the way of the companions.......the only difference being the interpretation of what sunnah is and what the way of the companions is.
.. then this proves that each and everyone of us needs to question ourselves, and ask "are we really upon the Sunnah, or are we blindly following what we have been taught?"
We all need to find the truth on an individual level, and not rely on others, except Allaah. Only after we have found the Truth, will we come to know it's people.
Know the truth, and you shall know its people.
