if you take into consideration the amount of fabric that men used in say a pair of trousers
and a full skirt... you'll see the difference,
some women started to wear trousers at that time too..
what im trying to say is as the teh skirts got shorter... from floor length to ankle, to pencil pleat to below knee to knee to above knee to belt, peoples attitudes changed.
Men on the other hand did undergo a fashion change, they years after the war brought a sense of freedom, tight flares, teddy boys, tight shirts open at teh chest
the clothing displayed the attributes of the different sexes
(if u say its traditionally like that then why dont u ever think men have devised a culture in which they them selves remain covered and just make an enviroment in which females feel comfortable in showing their skin and instead of regreting such stuff feel proud in becoming modern)
ummmmm
oh kay
in pakistan men can get away with wearing shorts and bermudas...out in the open and banyans
in pakistan men can get away with walking in the house and even sometimes in their own garden/in the street without any shirt on and one loose shalwar with the string hanging out.
is that your definition of modern?
beaches- men get to wear one piece.
P.S. where i live...women can be both covered head to toe or wear minis- no one will prosecute them for it.
I dont think its very sexy to see ur bf or husband with sleevless clothe or something they wear and u see ther tummy innit??
I also think men’s also dont feel comfortable if they wear that kind
of clothe’s LOL
