OK, so the thing is that I live in Canada and have been purchasing MD Forte cleanser off amazon for quite a while. Now, my fiance is going to come over from US and I wanted to have him get me a couple of bottles so that I can save myself the shipping charges.
The problem is that I just checked on Md Forte website and it says that one has to go to a doc to purchase any of their products because a doc would refer to you the products that are best suitable for you and what not. Now, what I would like to ask you people is whether or not my fiance can drop by a doc’s clinic and simply make the purchase for me (considering I’ve been using the product for quite some time and it’s been working absolutely fine for me) or would he be required to show the doc any prescription? Would he be charged for the “visit” to the doc or are all purchases made right at the reception without having to go and actually see the doctor itself?
I live in Canada and I am not 100 percent sure how it all works in US in terms of health care and making purchase at a doc’s clinic.

It's just like buying Obagi products that you can't buy off of their website or over-the-counter and I thought quite a few guppans had tried out Obagi products and, therefore, I expected some input in this thread :(
It's strange, most Obagi products are available over-the-counter here except for any kind of peels and acidic washes... for any kind of acidic washes, you'll need a prescription. You can only get a prescription once your dermatologist has examined the condition of your skin.
Thanks a lot for replying, Gina. Perhaps, you are right and what you said might apply in North America too. It's just that I read up about Obagi and MD Forte brands online and most people said that they got their products through their docs and that these cannot be purchased in a mere drugstore or departmental store.
I think my best bet is to give the clinic a call and ask them directly. LEt's see what they say in return.
I’m not sure if you can help me out but i need to find a derma or any website that carries the obagi products. I have already treid www.obagi.com and followed the instruction and called te obagi in india and they said they don’t have obagi anymore. Anyhow, i was wondering if you(or anyone else that’s reading this) knows of any derma or a website in india which is carring obagi products. thank u soo much for your help.
