A Proud Pakistani!
August 14, 2005 will mark 58 years of Pakistani’s coming into being.
On this auspicious moment, I want to forget all negativities, unhelpfulness, pessimism and disapproval of my country, it’s Military Dictatorship, Hasba Bill, Extremism, corruption of our society, injustices and excessiveness and only want to remember one thing, “that I am a Pakistani, a proud Pakistani and Alhamdilillah, a Muslim, a human being”.
Life of an state is like a human-life, sometimes sluggish, sometimes bumpy, sometimes droopy and sometimes perky and sizzling…the only thing what important is the ‘existence’ ‘integrity’ ‘honor’ ‘veracity’ and ‘compassion’. I honestly believe that besides deep-down digging of it’s roots by internal and external enemies, Pakistan has traveled a long long way in all those 58 years and I am really not ‘disappointed’ by it’s existence. While I sit back and relax, I feel like a happy camper being a Pakistani.
Very good wishes to my countrymen wherever they are!
