A Protest for GAZA in Washington D.C this Sunday!

A protest for GAZA will be taking place this Sunday, Jan. 4th

exact Location of the event:
the park in front of Congress
100 Constitution Avenue NE
Washington D.C

HOST : Mutaz alawaleh
Time: 12:00 pm- 3: oo pm

Rules for tomorrow’s protest:

  • No violence.

  • No cursing.

  • No wishes of death for anyone.

  • Chants are only in English.

  • ONLY TWO flags are allowed, the US flag and the Palestinian flag, any other flag will be taken away by organizers; anyone who refuses giving them to organizers will be handed to the police on site.

  • No CHANTS for supporting any political party/organization inside Palestine or outside of it. It is for the people of Palestine not for the Politicians and organizations of Palestine.

  • Pictures of Politicians/Leaders from outside the US are not allowed. Pictures will be taken away by organizers; anyone who refuses giving them to organizers will be handed to the police on site. Let’s leave politics and politicians on the side for a day and stand for the people of GAZA.

  • No littering.

  • No blocking of traffic.

  • No trespassing.I encourage those who are not willing to follow the rules not to join us tomorrow; we want to change our image in the media, to gain more support on the US political grounds, not to worsen it. We are trying to show the world that our cause is just, we all need to vent but not on the expense of PALESTINE.

I encourage everyone to hold American flags as well as Palestinian ones, we should be grateful for whatever this country has offered us so far and respectful to the amount freedom it has given us.

The goal here is to send a message To Whom It May Concern that such bloody actions are not acceptable by any mean or under whatever circumanstances. A message of peace, justice and freedom.

THIS PROTEST IS NOT FOR SUPPORTING ONE POLITICAL PARTY OVER ANOTHER OR A CERTAIN MILITARY ORGANIZATION IN PALESTINE. IT IS FOR SUPPORTING THE PEOPLE OF GAZA AND ENDING THE SIEGE.

It is going to be 42F tomorrow, so please get something warm on and feel free to use the palestinian scarf to keep yourselves warm. Also there is 50% chance of rain tomorrow, please bring umbrellas in case it rains.
