A Prayer

The following prayer was posted here some time last year. I was recently updating my records when I came across the prayer and thought I’d put it back up, as I find it awe aspiring:

I asked for Strength and God gave me difficulties to make me strong.

I asked for wisdom and God gave me problems to solve.

I asked for prosperity and God gave me brain and brawn to work.

I asked for courage and God gave me danger to overcome.

I asked for love and God gave me troubled people to help.

I asked for favours and God gave me opportunities.

I received nothing I wanted
I received everything I needed.

My prayer has been answered.

Salaam.

Subhan’Allah

“I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving creature, but He has a grasp of its forelock. Verily, my Lord is on the straight path. (The truth)”
(11:55-56)

“…Indeed my prayer, my sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allaah, the Lord of the worlds” (6:162)

Jazak Allah..

Those with their databases help me here, there is a hadith that you should keep asking/praying, because Allah SWT will award you with 'sawaab' even if your prayers are not answered. (I can add here that the prayers should be for 'jaaiz/permissible').

May Allah SWT guide us all towards right and help us follow the right
