I go the gym and the other day I was deadlifting 180 kilograms which is roughly 400 pounds.
Then afterwards I saw an Image.
The image of a man carrying the body of his little daughter covered in a white sheet from a morgue. She had been killed by an Israeeli missile strike.
The daughter weighs at most something like 30 kilograms (she was little)
The look on the mans face, carrying his own daughter said it all. The daughter even though she was under 30 kilograms and the man was reasonably big, but still without a dubt it has to be the hardest thing to carry. To carry the body of your own child has to be the hardest, unbearable thing ever.
The 400 pounds I lifted seems very little to the 66 pounds he was lifting…
Sad, very sad
