Gupshup has made tremendous leaps in bringing us close. It has given us new friends, new relationships, but most importantly, it has given us something larger than life: new ideas and new outlook on the world. I think i speak for all of us when i say that Gupshup has enriched our lives with more stimulus, both socially and intellectually. I came to this website insearch of meaning and splendor. Gupshup embraced me and took me in. I was a refugee , Gupshup consoled me. I was hungry, hungry for meaning and purpose, she fed me. She gave me strength when i had none. She gave me advice when i had no one to turn to. She gave me joy when i was overcome with sorrow. She was the guiding light when i was enveloped by the darkness. She guided me , fed me raised me and kept me on the right path.
Today, on June 21st 2005, i speak to you from a cubicle in an office in a building in the Newyork City. It may seem like anyother day but believe me when i say that it is one of the greatest hallmarks Gupshup has ever attained. Today i, the defender of ** peace, justice and women’s rights ** , have completed 5000 posts. These 5000 posts have been a documentory saga of humor, romantic poetry, philosphical issues, practiced religion and social issues faced by you mortals in your daily life. I have recieved much acclaim and recognition for my original style, wisdom, and wit. I humbly admit that i deserved this accolade for my achievements
However, I want to appreciate the love and respect i recieved in my brightest moments on Gupshup and i want to publicly acknowledge that i have been Gupshup’s greatest son. (i would also like to extend my inner-most gratitude to azkar choudary for arranging a commemoratory press conference for me, which will be held mid July) I only hope that i can be an inspiration to thousands of Guppies through my dedication and superiority. I have given so much to Gupshup and i hope you guys can follow my example and do the same. I have unconditionally protected Gupshup from evil. This evil surfaced its face in the many forms: * chaltahai, matsui, iffy, * e.t.c to name a few. I protected her then and i shall keep on defending her, whilst giving you guys entertainment, advice and inspiration.
** I would like to urge the moderator to turn this into a sticky. I announce a week long celebrations for Gupshup. We have truly achieved something great together. Let the celebrations begin! **
