Dunno whats going on.

as indicated in all the news reports, the victim is supposedly an illegal immigrant like many other minorities in the UK…a fear of authority would be pretty justified.
i’m not saying there is no doubt, i’m just saying that it is perfectly logical for such a victim not to come forward.
she could even be a fictitious character…but it’s not an implausible scenario by any means. and to be quite honest, UK pakistanis doing something like that wouldn’t surprise anybody. i’ve been around them for over a month now, and they are incredibly different from even their american counterparts (not in a good way).
it’s not about providing justice…i’m just pointing out that there is some basis to the reaction, and that is the rape of a young girl (whether true or not)…not some affinity for violence/riots inherent in the black psyche. communities are much tighter in the UK, and there is often community-wide backlash over various incidents. boycotting desi business won’t do anybody any good, but it is all part of the reaction. everybody has a big fat label stuck to their foreheads in the UK - “asian”, “black”, etc.
can you imagine how pissed UK pakistanis would be if some 14 yr old paki girl was raped by blacks?

In a town recently there were a gang of BLACK men - running around ina group of 6-7, gang raping many an unsuspecting victim. There were an upwards of 10 somthing victims. Indeed - one of the victims was 15 and a friend of my sisters.
